This week, Schwab asked students, “If you were trapped on a deserted island and could only bring three things with you, what would you bring and why?”

Freshman Representative: Leland Moffat
Answer: “I would bring a hatchet because I can get firewood. I would bring a lighter to start fires. Then the last one would be a case of water.”

Sophomore Representative: Everley Johnson
Answer: “I would bring water. I would also bring canned food that would last a really long time. I probably would bring a tent, just a big tent that you would have to pitch up.”

Junior Representative: Joseph Turpin
Answer: “I would bring a flint and steel to start a fire, keep myself warm, and possibly alert others. I would bring a tactical plier kit because it comes with a knife, screwdriver, scissors—basically everything tactical. I would also bring a radio because if I see a plane, I could talk with them.”

Senior Representative: Matthew Daniels
Answer: “If I was trapped on a deserted island, the three items I would bring with me is a box of matches for a fire. I would also bring about 96 gallons of water—gotta stay hydrated. And then probably a bow and arrow to catch some food.”
