With only a month and a half left of school, the next school year is already on the horizon. In this week’s issue, students answered the question, “What advice you would give to someone coming to BHS next year?”

Freshman Representative: Jamison Parsell
Answer: “Get to class on time and turn in your work. If you do this, you will be totally fine. I would say to get into a club of some sort to connect to the community. I do football, basketball, golf and track, and I am very connected to the school.”

Sophomore Representative: Gavin Balogh
Answer: “I would say come prepared for high school, [and] meet new friends and new teachers. Be prepared for all the assignments, but you will have so much fun if you get a good friend group. Make sure you try out [for] sports because it’s really fun playing with your sports group and everything.”

Junior Representative: Drew Grose
Answer: “Be involved in your classes. Be the one who raises their hand. And study, put the hours in. Get involved in anything, clubs or sports. It’s how you build a community.”

Senior Representative: Madison Bell
Answer: “I would say to not overly stress about everything because it doesn’t define who you are, to get involved because it really helps you connect with others and make friends and to go to the school events because it’s fun, and a lot of people go.”
