Many students at BHS have their minds on the future. Whether it is college, a trade, the military or another path, there is a bright future for all students, and many students have already started thinking about what they want to do after high school. This week, students pondered the question, “Where do you see yourself in 10 years?”

Freshman Representative: Nico Valenti
Answer: “I see myself attending Michigan State University. I’d like to go into computer graphics and try to work for big companies. I’d probably stay in Brighton for a while but move out with my parents.”

Sophomore Representative: Liam Wheeler
Answer: “I see myself either finishing up college or working. I’d like a decent job and to have fun. I’ll most likely be in an apartment and further away from the city preferably.”

Junior Representative: John Bowman
Answer: “I see myself in a lot of different places; [it] kind of depends on how the next few years play out. I could be in college and starting a successful career or doing something I love. I don’t know how I will be relationship-wise in ten years, but [I] definitely won’t be living with my parents anymore.”

Senior Representative: Mike Lawson
Answer: “Probably somewhere in the electrical field, following my family’s footsteps. I’ll take over my parents’ place after they retire, and I will probably be in trade school. I will also try to buy a 1998 Pontiac Fiero.”
