“Brighton’s Got Talent” is officially making its debut at Brighton High School in 2025. Ran by the junior class council, the high school talent show is a way for the student body to get on stage and perform what they’ve got. The show will be held at 7:00 pm on February 26, 2025, at the Brighton Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets to attend are $5 per person.
Maggie Burchfield, president of the junior class council, said, “We’re doing the talent show to help fundraise for prom, and we thought it’d be a fun way to help do that.”
All types of talent are welcome, though students will have to audition to be selected for the show.
“Anyone can audition; they just have to try out on the third and the fourth of February,” Burchfield said. “Anyone could be there, too.”

QR codes to sign up for auditions can be found around the school on posters relating to the talent show. For additional information, students can talk to either Mrs. Grills or Mrs. Goyt.
